Q: Will you be my/our actual Disc Jockey/Emcee?
A: Absolutely! When you reserve my personal services I do fully guarantee that I will be your Disc Jockey/Emcee, or I will refund all of your money. Although please keep in mind that I usually do have an assistant working by my side, but I will be the one who performs for your celebration. I will not just send you an employee or sub-contract out your special day to any other company.
Q: Do you offer any type of guarantee?
A: Yes, I offer a 100% quality performance guarantee. I have never had anyone who has been dissatisfied with my services however, if you should have a legitimate dispute concerning my personalized services I will do what I must do to make things right, even if it means that I must refund all your money for my services. My main goal is to provide you with true professional service from start to finish as I strongly depend on you for the future success of my business.
Q: Do you provide guest interaction activities, games, etc to promote fun?
A: Yes, unless you request otherwise I will do my best to promote a FUN atmosphere during your celebration. I have a number of different interaction activities in which promote fun. If you do not wish to have any interaction activities provided, simply let me know of YOUR wishes. Remember it’s your special day and I want everything to be exactly the way in which YOU want it to be.
Q: What type of music do you play?
A: I have a large music library that contains thousands of songs. My music ranges from the Big Band sounds of the thirties through the very best radio versions of today’s hottest hits. I am a professional at reading people and playing great music that is sure to please you and all of your guests. I promise you that I will play an awesome mixture of great hits that are sure to please you and all of your guests. I do not carry alternative music or heavy metal music and I will not play music of an offensive nature or music that is sexually explicit, even if requested by you. I also do not carry a large Latin music library simply because I do not understand the language and I do not want to play anything that may possibly be of an extreme offensive nature.
Q: Do you accept music request?
A: Yes, in fact I love request and because my music library is 100% digital I can usually locate most special requests within seconds. I encourage requests as long as it is ok with you to accept requests from your guests. Once you reserve my services you will be able to build your own music play list right from my website should you choose to do so, and if you wish, your guests will have the ability to place up to five request in advance through my online music library. Although I cannot guarantee that all request will be played, unless of course they are special songs requested by you.
Q: Do you play Christian music?
A: Yes, I have a huge library of great Christian music that is available upon request only.
Q: How will you dress?
A: I and my assistant will be dressed appropriately and upon your request, I will gladly dress in tuxedo attire.
Q: Are you licensed and Insured?
A: Yes, I am licensed and fully insured. Keep in mind that some venue locations will not permit entertainment services that cannot prove that they are licensed and insured. I highly advise that you check with the venue management in which your celebration will take place to see if they require proof of insurance. This is just a thought for your consideration; if someone says that they are a Professional Disc Jockey and can’t prove that they are licensed and fully insured, BEWARE of them as a true professional will usually abide by state regulations.
Q: Do you use professional equipment?
A: Yes! Even though most people don’t have a clue as to what brand of equipment is what, I do use professional equipment because I am a true professional. I have seen cases where a so called DJ has shown up to provide services at a wedding reception with nothing more than just a home stereo. It is important that the Disc Jockey that you hire uses professional equipment. But, even though professional sound equipment is important, the most important part of the equipment is the one who is operating the equipment. There are many " DJs " who pride themselves on how much equipment they have. But, the important facts to consider are can they professionally direct all of your details, will they provide all Emcee services including professionally introducing you and your Wedding Party, do they know how to professionally read people to know what music will motivate them, do they provide interaction activities so that you and your guests will truly enjoy your celebration and finally, do they offer any guarantees and if so will their guarantee be in writing? Professional sound equipment is important, but if the person operating it can not answer yes to these questions, the equipment will not make a difference.
Q: Are you a member of any professional organizations?
A: Yes I am a proud member of The American Disc Jockey Association . Keep in mind that a true professional will usually be a member of a Professional Disc Jockey Association and will continue in education to bring forth quality services to every one of their clients. I would love to be a part of your special day, however if you should choose another company, I highly recommend that you make sure that they are a member of a professional organization and make sure that you verify that they are. You can verify my membership by visiting The American Disc Jockey Association. Once you log onto their website simply type in my zip code of 34731 in the box that says FIND A DJ. I will be at the top of their list under the zip code of 34731. Remember that I do provide services to most of the Central Florida area.
Q: Do I/we pay for setup and removal of your equipment?
A: Of course NOT! You only pay for the agreed time to perform and never for setup or removal of my equipment. You also do not pay for my travel or any lodging that may be needed.
Q: How much time do you require to setup your equipment?
A: I would like to have at least two hours prior to the start of your celebration to properly setup my sound equipment if possible. If you wish to add on my dance lighting system I do require a minimum of three hours to properly setup. I do require a minimum of two hours to setup my sound equipment prior to our agreed start time in order to guarantee that I will be setup by our agreed start time and three hours if you wish to add on my dance lighting system. Please keep in mind that a true professional will usually require more than just one hour to properly setup their sound and lighting equipment. If someone says that they only require one hour to setup prior to start time, I would wonder exactly how professional they really are.
Q: How soon must I/we make our decision to reserve your services should I/we desire to do so?
A: I highly recommend that if you are truly interested in reserving my services that you do so AS SOON AS YOU HAVE SET AN EXACT DATE that you will need my services for. I only host one celebration per day which means that once someone books a certain date, that entire date is reserved exclusively for them and no one else. Since I have been in business since 1989 my reputation is well known and this means that choice dates do book very fast. Also, please keep in mind that my entertainment rates do change periodically so by reserving my services today you are able to lock in my current entertainment rate which will save you a great deal of money if you are getting married in the next few years. Remember that everything goes up in price as the years go by and the demand increases, so if you are interested in reserving my personalized services I highly recommend that you reserve my services as soon as you have set your exact date.
Q: What if I/we have set our exact date, but do not have an exact location as of yet, or what if we do not know the exact times that we will need your services for?
A: As long as your celebration will take place in Central Florida, you can let me know your location at anytime. You can also let me know your exact times at anytime, although if you extend your time beyond the time in which I quote you a rate for, there may be an additional charge for the extended time. Keep in mind that I fully guarantee that if you decide to extend our agreed end time you will be able to do so at my extended time rate even if you do not reserve additional time in advance. Extended time is based upon venue management approval.
Q: Well everything sounds good so how can I/we reserve your services?
A: Simply just contact me to check the availability of your date. If your date is still currently available you can lock in your special date today with a deposit of $100.00 and a signed entertainment agreement. Remember that you only need to know your exact date that you would like to reserve my services for. All of your other details such as location and time can be given to me at anytime as long as your celebration will take place within the Central Florida area.
Q: If I/we reserve your services today for a date that is a year or two away and some unforeseen circumstance should arise that is beyond my/our control will I/we forfeit my/our deposit?
A: NO! Your deposit is fully refundable up until three months ( 90 ) days prior to your reserved date for any reason. If you must cancel my services within ( 90 ) days prior to your reserved date you will forfeit your full deposit unless one or both of you can provide proof of being called into Military duty or unless there is a reasonable excuse for having to cancel within three months prior to your reserved date. If you find that you need to cancel my services within ( 90 ) days prior to your reserved date I will refund your deposit if I am able to secure another engagement for the same date that you cancel. Your deposit can be applied to another date if need be and if available, providing that I do not decline another engagement for the date that you need to change.
Q: After paying my/our deposit, when will the balance be due?
A: Your full remaining balance can be paid at anytime, but is required within the first hour of my performance time, unless you are paying by credit card. If you are paying by credit card I do ask that you pay your final balance within two days prior to your reserved date so that I can be sure that the payment clears my account.
Q. After paying my/our deposit, can I/we make ongoing payments towards the final balance for your services?
A: Absolutely! Many of my clients enjoy the fact that I will gladly setup a payment program without interest that will allow the full balance for my services to be paid in full by their reserved date. If you would like to setup a payment program, I will gladly help you do so. Please note though that I only accept major credit cards for your first deposit and final payment only. Credit cards are not accepted as an ongoing payment program.
